Code of Conduct

1. General Code of Conduct

As a player/coach/spectator/official participating in twilight soccer, you must meet the following requirements in regard to your conduct during any activity held or sanctioned by them:

1.1            Respect the rights, dignity and worth of others regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

1.2             Be fair, considerate and honest in all dealing with others.

1.3             Be professional in, and accept responsibility for, your actions.

1.4             Be aware of, and maintain an uncompromising adhesion to the rules and regulations.

1.5             Operate within the laws of the game, including national and international guidelines which govern the sport, except where a competition by-law over rules.

1.6             Refrain from any form of harassment of others.

1.7             Any player, official or other person responsible for causing damage to the facilities shall be required to pay the cost of repair or a charge towards such costs as determined by the club.

1.8             Understand the repercussions if you breach, this code of behavior.

2. Player Code of Conduct

In addition to the General Code of Conduct, you must meet the following requirements in regard to your conduct as a player during the competition:

2.1             Care for and respect the equipment provided to you as part of your program.

2.2             Conduct yourself in a professional manner relating to language, temper, sportsmanship and punctuality.

2.3             Abide by the rules and respect the decision of the official.

Players who are unsure about calls should ask their captain to approach the official in a respectful manner at the next break in play.

3. Penalties for Breaching this Code of Conduct

If a player/coach/spectator/parent/guardian acts in a manner that breaches of this Code of Conduct, the following penalties apply:

Match Officials and Stirling Districts Football Club have the authority to remove any player/coach/spectator/parent/guardian from the grounds.

A player/coach/spectator/parent/guardian can be suspended from the competition and/or stadium for a period of time as deemed appropriate by Twilight Soccer Management.

Penalties for breaches occurring after the final siren of the match in which the offender is involved may be more severe than penalties applied for breaches during the match.
